What about Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Fight, and Rob Halford fame? Come one Jon use your head.
If you want a real Country outlaw with a beard, how about David Allen Coe, he sings the greatest country song ever, its got everything momma, trucks, getting drunk, trains, prison, and rain all in one!
I do like the Motorhead!

This is extremely delayed, but Scott H. Biram (http://www.myspace.com/scotthbiram) has had a massive beard and a pretty epic Fu Manchu (and one with a soul patch!) Plus, he plays outlaw country, which is pretty badass.

How about N.I.B. from Black Sabbath's eponymous debut album?

Sabbath fans stroked their (bearded) chins, wondering what N.I.B. stood for.

Turns out it stood for nothing. At the time, drummer Bill Ward sported a pointed beard, which his bandmates decided resembled the NIB of a pen!

Hope that's enough of a beard connection! If you haven't heard the song, go find it. Slammin'!

Ok, since you put a couple of country people in there, how about these:

Kenny Rogers: You Picked a Fine Time To Leave Me Lucille

Waylon Jennings: I've Always Been Crazy

Merle Haggard: I Think I'll Just Stay Here and Drink

Johnny Paycheck: Take This Job and Shove It

Toby Keith: How Do You Like Me Now?

I couldn't help but notice no mention of the Australian band "The Beards" and their bearded classics, such as "Growing a Beard," "No Beard, No Good," or even, "A Wizard Needs a Beard." Check them out at www.myspace.com/thebeardsclub ... you know, if you want.

@Kyle: The list is alphabetical...

@Doles: Isn't Kenny Loggins considered a gateway to Michael McDonald? Then where does it end? It seems like we'd wake up in a gutter somewhere with a beard hangover and George Michael playing in the background. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Hey man,

Found you yesterday... you're pretty hilarious.

Anyways, pretty sick that you stick KSE as #1... "A Bid Farewell" is a sick song.

And, of course, no "beard list" would be complete without Zakk Wylde...

haha

@M: What's funny is that I had both Brent Hinds and Troy Sanders from Mastodon in my notes and swore I added three of their songs, but they're not on the list. I added a couple of tracks. Isn't the only guy from Poison Idea with a beard dead?
