Man, Jon, you've got your priorities mixed up! Car milage has actually declined over the last decade. I used to drive a Geo Metro, that fucker got 44 miles to the gallon. Try finding that kind of ratio at the car lot. And you're right, hybrids are a crock of shit and only appeal to jerks who want to look like they are environmentally conscious without actually doing anything. If people cared, they'd drive Yaris' and other teeny cars and not Ford Explorers. Of course, they also make hybrid SUV's now. Silly.
