RSSFineTune Friday March 2008 Theme
The Jocks have the Alpha Beta house with their wild parties and their ass paddles, but what do the geeks and nerds get? Nothing but wedgies and insults. Until now. Now, you have PSI PHI, your personal frorority, that is in desperate need of a soundtrack.
Your two week mission: To explore new music. To seek out new genres and bands. To boldly go where no nerd has gone before. Throw on your red shirt, beam down to the planet and find the best space / sci-fi related tunes that you can before your journey home.
On Friday, March 7, we’ll gather the fleet and cross-link the stations by Federation protocol.
Information on how to join in on the fun can be found on my FineTune Friday Page. If you haven’t joined in yet, academy training is not necessary. Just show up with your playlist and a droid or two.
(Note: I know that the logo is Star Wars and the words are Star Trek. The move was intentional to appease both classes of humans.)

Dude, the red shirts never get to journey home. And I don’t think Journey would be on my list. But I’ll see what I can do this time.

V: You could do anything that mentions space. Man or Astroman? always have samples with sci fi. Didn’t all of Boston’s albums have space ships on them? Journey Escape? Domo Arrigato Mr. roboto? Clutch’s Galaxy 500? Virtually the entire cast of Star Trek did their own albums. I’ve said too much. Light up the boosters on your innner nerd. I know you can do this.
