I usually keep a short trimmed beard all year long, only to shave it off occasionally for the heck of it. Wouldn't it figure that the coldest day of the winter (only to be followed by the new coldest day of the winter) is when I shaved mine off. So part of the regret is the look, but mostly because of the discomfort I feel when cold air whips my face. I gotta agree with that article being crap.
