I hear that, Sarah. Vote with your feet.

N0ia: I didn't directly bring the video to my parents. They found it through the post and looked it up. I seem to think that there's less attitude on Mixx so far. As for content, I think they're in the growth phase.

I love #1GF!'s remark to that contractor!

We've been dealing with lots of schmucky work people in our new house. It's amazing how much some people charge for being so unprofessional! Saying "no" or "I'll get another quote" will take you a long way, I've found.

How large is this renovation project thing? I've never heard of having to hire an architect to get plans drawn up. Maybe people do things different in the south though (or in Georgia at least -- we're all just a bunch of rednecks anyway! :P)

It never fails - when you tell someone NOT to watch something, they have to go and watch it. But if you approached your parents and said "Listen, there's this absolutely disgusting video on the internet, and you probably don't want to watch it because it's that horrid, but I've got it pulled up and you really need to see it." they would probably be more inclined to skip out on it. Then again, I don't know your parents, so maybe they would watch it.

I couldn't imagine being the one to introduce my parents to 2 girls 1 cup though. I would feel guilty for a very long time!

If there's a lot less stupidity on Mixx then I may start using that rather than Digg. It's definitely gone way down hill.
