Ooh thanks for this post, I really enjoyed it. I like what you say about teaching your readers something. Well, firstly, I don't have many readers (yet), and secondly, I'm not sure I actually have anything I could teach people! But I like this idea so I'll work on it! Thanks!!

You have no idea how bad I needed this.

I'm extremely guilty of those "Tired, don't know what to write about, so I'll just leave it at that" posts.

I really wish we had more than 24 hours in a day so that maybe I could get a couple of other things accomplished.

Kudos to you on posting as often as you do. I realize that you don't have a "job" - but I really think your dedication to this will pay off.

I know that if I didn't have a job, I'd probably skip out on blogging and veg out all day long.

Oh, I think this post WAS written for me. I've had horrible writer's block and feel very uninteresting right now.

And if all else fails, sometimes picking something from one of these two places can help get the creative juices flowing:

http://journalingprompts.com/
http://creativewritingprompts.com/

all you do is click on a number in either one and start writing about the topic that pops up. some are interesting, some are stupid, but regardless they should at least get pen to paper...or fingers to keys, as it may be!
