		<description>I'm going to see the Spankers next month.  They're on Chicago's Bloodshot label and the Bloodshot compilations have some of their really good tunes included (along with some other great bands and artists).

It's so strange to see them listed as "blues" or even "jazz/blues"---I've never really considered categorizing them that way (nor the Squirrel Nut Zippers) and just kind of left them out there in their own, unnamed, little genre.

I'd highly suggest some Devil in a Woodpile if you like the Spankers.</description>
