you forgot to mention: "called my sister. whistled into her voicemail and somehow hit a note that sounded like i pushed a button, thereby erasing all of previous message. proceeded to rerecord without really knowing if i was rerecording or not." that was pretty funny. sometimes i trigger touch-tone tones with my voice and am forced to rerecord in a less animated fashion. beat that....

this is my favorite day:

"Day unrecorded. I made the coffee and ran a couple of miles and then probably ran around doing useless shit."

I can sum up whole months that way. Other than the running bit, and that I haven't made my own coffee in 5 years.

Ahh, the elusive "self-checkout" lane. Unfortunately the morons down here decided that when they remodeled the Walmart about a year ago that they weren't going to put self-checkout lanes in - while all the other Walmarts in the area had them.

I probably oughta look into buying some bulk coffee, cause I'm sick of buying it by the $6 bag or the $15 canister.

I think I'm going to try and get up earlier Monday than I have to and do a few laps around the block. I'll probably only end up doing one because I'm so unfit, but it'll be a start to a healthier life.

I figured if the unemployed can get up at 6 a.m. every single day on their own volition, then an employed person should be able to as well.

I just buy the bulk coffee beans from Stop n' Shop, but the movement is only a result of not having a job that I have to go to.

On this occasion, I actually had two women try to help me as I was trying to checkout, and I was on my way to through self-checkout lane. I have certainly felt the pain on Walmart lines on other occasions though. Brutal!

Just out of curiousity, what kind of coffee do you drink?

Because for some reason, the coffee I drink doesn't make me want to do ANY of the stuff you do - well, except maybe sit on a computer and try to figure out PHP to no avail.

But it definitely doesn't make me want to run or do stuff like that.

Since I work second shift, I have, unfortunately, experienced the crowd at Walmart. And if they're anything like the cost cutting ninjas down here (GA) then they only staff one, maybe two cashiers total in the entire store - meaning that there is no express lane for people like me who are getting diapers, two plates for the son, and a new hat for him to sport around.

Instead you have to stand in a long line with four items in your cart with an impatient toddler on the verge of screaming. Luckily my son is cool and listens pretty well.
