"Did a minimal number of pushups during the commercials."

Gah! You need to start working on the one arm push up. Take a basketball (or something that size) put it at arm's length to the side. Now do pushups with one arm in close, and one on the ball. Switch sides after a certain number of reps. Keep working on this till you no longer need the ball to assist.

See? I can still give you workout suggestions. Thank you Al Gore for the interweb.

I did what I could on the list and will be working on more of it until its done. Unfortunately, I keep adding items. the goal is to burn myself out on errands, leaving nothing to prevent my brain from sinking into whatever it needs to sink into.

I'm finding that if there is no one telling me to get things done, then getting things done is relatively relaxing. Ok. Off to run more errands...

that sounds about right for a first day off! i'm sure you'll relax sooner or later. first you have to get all those mangy detail jobs that you've had in the back of your mind all done and then you'll relax like whoa. :)

i find it quite funny that when you post in june, my google reader writes, "jon jun." it's not that funny at all but i giggle somewhere inside...i do.

I usually do all sorts of random busy-body type things on my days off - with a little bit of relaxing here and there. Sometimes if I've worked pretty hard on the days preceding, then I'll relax.

It seems like you got some serious ADD going on though. Did you deviate from your list of things that needed to be done? Or did you actually finish the list and fill in the rest of the time with miscellaneous stuff?
