Alas, once again, I find myself on the opposite side of the fence regarding a piece of cinema (or in this case, small screen). I absolutely love "Deadwood". I would say that you didn't watch enough (as I find it only gets better), but I don't remember having to wait myself. I wasn't a big fan of Shakespeare in school, but it seems to be the only comparison I'm ever able to make. Yes, they swear a lot, but as I understand it, that was authentic for the time. And, if you can get past it, the dialog is extremely intelligent and, at times, hard to follow (just like Shakespeare, for me). I find myself rewinding frequently to get the meaning of what was just said. And, I'm usually glad I did.

I hope you give it another chance...

I would fully agree with you about "Failure to Launch" if I didn't find Terry Bradshaw so funny in it. It got the bump solely on his naked room.

I thought that "Just Like Heaven" was better than what you rated. Although it was quite hokie, I'm a sucker for Reese.

I also thought you were way too generous with "Failure to Launch", but that may be from my utter distaste of Sarah Jessica Parker, and the fact that nearly every Matthew McConaughey movie is where he plays a romancer and what not. I would have given it a Z if ratings went that far.

Also, I think in Underworld, the werewolves are referred to as Lycans (Lycanthropes), but it probably would be more entertaining if they were fighting off a ton of fungus :)

Ah you're logic is flawed, grasshopper. If I said a vagina is required to join Curves Fitness Club, it does not imply that I think all women want to join. :)

I resent the fact that you think all people with vaginas would want to watch these flicks---most vagina bearing peeps in my world wouldn't have even ventured into the realm of them!

I heart Underworld because it's so damn bad! And I want to look like Kate Beckinsale in vinyl and a corset when I grow up.
