One was with a phone card and over a w/e, it was used to call, literally, all over the world. The second time was someone got hold of my number and charged hundreds of dollars inclothes from Lane Bryant catalogue and had them sent to an address in NY. Both times the company was on the ball and caught the large activity so I was not responsible. It is really bad news to have this happen. I had this done on two occassion. I've never been a victim of credit card fraud, but it is definitely a scary thing. When I made a large purchase at the baby store for all the baby furniture the cashier had to call the credit card company to confirm I was who I am. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that they actually do have safeguards in place for instances like that. Whoa.
