ah the exploding whale. people still talk about that out here. you’d think that they learned their lesson after failing to blow up a whale, but about 6 years ago an oil tanker, the new carrissa, beached itself off of coos bay oregon and do you know how they dealt with it? i’ll give you one guess. that’s right, they tried to blow it up in order to sink it. did it work? nope. i think part of the ship might still be sitting there stuck in the mud as a reminder of how dumb oregonians can be. i wonder if you can find a video of that.
