Poop taste food - been there, done that. Indian food restaurant in Banbury England, if I remember correctly. The side dish of mushrooms sounded great to me, a Pennsylvanian wild mushroom fan. Alright, you're already way ahead of me if your first thought was "mushrooms are fed crap." Well, not here in Pennsylvania, but India seems certain to me. The first bite tasted exactly how cow manure smells - great if you miss your farming or ranching childhood, terrible for most others. And yes, I did have to confirm that taste by having another forkful - odd how that seems to make sense at the time. I did warn my girlfriend, resulting in a look I hadn't seen given to me before or since - the "you just ate something that tasted like, or was actually crap" look. Whether it also ran through her mind that I had a second forkful ( of manure ), I never wanted to know. Their Tandoori Chicken, yogurt and Nan Bread were excellent.
