It’s All Over, And It Tastes Like Poop

It’s all over
The relaxation that I stored up over that nice, long vacation was expected to last me at least two weeks. Unfortunately, I used up all my calm on dipshits and side tracks in a mere 2.5 days. At one point somewhere near the end, I think I actually referred to someone as a “stupid dick,” in a pretty matter-of-fact way that surprised my co-workers into a burst of laughter, but could probably be construed as “not very professional.” At least no one construed it as some form of pseudo-sexual harassment. So, I got that going for me…which is nice.

And it Tastes like Poop
Even though making a drink called Mexican Hot Chocolate sounds exotic, the smell of chili powder and cinnamon in your hot chocolate gives the distinct impression that you are drinking a steaming hot cup of poop.

Interestingly enough, after I made this connection, I took two more sips. And then left the rest on the counter for my GF to try.

Poop taste food – been there, done that. Indian food restaurant in Banbury England, if I remember correctly. The side dish of mushrooms sounded great to me, a Pennsylvanian wild mushroom fan. Alright, you’re already way ahead of me if your first thought was “mushrooms are fed crap.” Well, not here in Pennsylvania, but India seems certain to me. The first bite tasted exactly how cow manure smells – great if you miss your farming or ranching childhood, terrible for most others. And yes, I did have to confirm that taste by having another forkful – odd how that seems to make sense at the time. I did warn my girlfriend, resulting in a look I hadn’t seen given to me before or since – the “you just ate something that tasted like, or was actually crap” look. Whether it also ran through her mind that I had a second forkful ( of manure ), I never wanted to know. Their Tandoori Chicken, yogurt and Nan Bread were excellent.
