What a Package?
When said company asks said employee to volunteer to quit, said company (henceforth referred to as “the company”) refer to it as a separation agreement. When said employee reads said package, said employee will be dizzy with hithertos and wheretofors. When said employee reads the fine print, it reads that the company can revoke said offer even after said employee accepts it. Said employee will think “What the said fuck?” When said employee realizes that it’s all to ensure that the top brass continue to get big bonuses, it’s enough to make said employee sick. Said employee’s sickness will be covered in the interim by COBRA if said employee agrees to hold “the company” beyond recourse for said illness, and agrees to pay 102% of the cost.
Even if it means 6 months off paid, it still sucks.
Then again, it’s six months off.
Then again it’s timed perfectly to run out by Christmas.
Then again, it’s 6 months paid vacation.
Um, yea.
